High quality heritage assets
We own three beautitifully preserved Victorian railway stations, together with a fourth modern station at East Grinstead. Horsted Keynes – better known as Downton Abbey station – is the largest preserved station in the UK with five platforms.
We are the custodians of one of the finest collections of operational railway vehicles in the world. We can recreate scenes from the 1870’s to the 1960’s. From Victorian and Edwardian trains to Pullman cars to express passenger and freight trains through to the 1960’s, you’ll likely find what you need at the Bluebell Railway. Need something more modern? We are connected to the national rail network.
We also have two large carriage sheds which can be used for green screen shooting – and even as indoor operational railway studios with moving rail vehicles – together with plenty of room for the largest unit base.
